Dr. Jeanette Waegemakers Schiff is a full Professor in the Faculty of Social Work, University of Calgary. Her work on homelessness has examined housing needs and housing first programs, family homelessness, rural and northern Indigenous homelessness nationally and in Alberta. Her research includes an examination of the program characteristics of supportive housing first programs. Waegemakers Schiff is a key participant in RD1.
