Lee Anne is currently living in Thompson, Manitoba where she has been teaching in the Northern Social Work Program with University of Manitoba since the Fall of 2016. She is currently the chair of the Thompson Community Advisory Board formerly under the Homeless Partnering Strategy and now Reaching Home. Lee Anne has in the past and continues to contribute to research on homelessness. She is a registered social worker with the Manitoba College of Social Workers. Before becoming an instructor she worked at a regional level with provincial organizations including Northern Health/PHSA, BC Housing and BCLC in rural and northern communities in British Columbia. In recent years she. Lee Anne obtained a master’s degree in social work from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC).
